Using its own resources and working together with the Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau, the Pocono Manor Resort & Casino can be effectively marketed as a convention center through strong promotions and branding campaigns targeting meeting planners in a multitude of northeastern states. Revenues generated from the conventions could be reinvested into developing and maintaining state-of-the-art transportation systems—such as shuttle services—as intra-resort mobility conveniences for convention attendees.
Marketed properly and in a relatively short time frame, the Pocono Manor Resort & Casino has the potential to equal or eclipse the brand recognition of existing convention destinations now operating in New York and New Jersey.
