Both Tobyhanna Township and Monroe County Will Enjoy Substantial and Sustained Benefits with the Completion of the Pocono Manor Resort & Casino Project. In addition to the creation of extensive employment and its ancillary benefits to the area, a donation from the project’s principals of 32 acres for recreational ball fields and an additional 15 acres for a bus and rail station—as well as funding to establish a vocational/training school geared towards the hotel/casino industry—will greatly enhance the quality of life for area residents.

Up to $158,200,000 in retail, dining and entertainment sales will be generated, garnering approximately $6,168,700 in sales taxes for the state.
